🦠 Updated CDC Guidelines for COVID-19
As of the most recent guidance:
If you test positive for COVID-19 or have symptoms:
Stay home until you have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without using fever-reducing medication, and your symptoms are clearly improving.
After that, you may return to your regular activities, but you should take extra precautions for 5 more days, such as wearing a mask around others and avoiding high-risk individuals. If you’ve been exposed to someone with COVID-19:
You do not need to quarantine unless symptoms develop. Monitor yourself for symptoms and consider getting tested around Day 5 after exposure.

💳 COVID-19 Testing Costs and Insurance Coverage
Since the end of the federal Public Health Emergency, insurance companies are no longer required to cover the full cost of COVID-19 testing. Your individual insurance plan will determine what is covered and what is not.
Tests for travel or other non-medical purposes may not be covered at all.
Tests for illness, symptoms, or known exposure may be partially covered, depending on your insurance.
Any remaining balance after insurance is applied will be the patient’s responsibility, and you will receive a bill for that amount.
